Notes:  

  1. There is no such term as: ”Short Final”. Either it is “Final” (4 miles from touch down) or “Long Final” (more than 4 miles).

2.      If the runway is flooded, the depth should be passed to the crew too.

Εάν ο διάδρομος είναι πλημμυρισμένος, το βάθος πρέπει να μεταδίδεται στο πλήρωμα.

3.2.7  Aerodrome ground movements (Holding and Crossing)      Top to Contents of this Chapter

The most important instruction on the ground is to “HOLD”. The pilot should always readback any relevant transmission. The procedure words ROGER and WILCO is insufficient acknowledgment of the instructions HOLD, HOLD POSITION and HOLD SHORT OF (position). In each case, the acknowledgment must be by the phraseology HOLDING or HOLDING SHORT, as appropriate.  
During crossing of Runways, if the control tower is unable to see the crossing aircraft (e.g., night, low visibility, etc), the instruction should always be accompanied by a request to report when the aircraft has vacated and is clear of the runway.  
Η πιο σημαντική οδηγία στο έδαφος είναι η «ΚΡΑΤΗΣΗ». Ο κυβερνήτης πρέπει πάντα να γνωστοποιεί λήψη επαναλαμβάνοντας κάθε σχετική εκπομπή (Readback). Οι λέξεις ROGER και WILCO είναι ανεπαρκής γνωστοποίηση των οδηγιών HOLD, HOLD POSITION και HOLD SHORT OF (θέση). Σε κάθε περίπτωση η γνωστοποίηση πρέπει να γίνεται με την φρασεολογία HOLDING ή HOLDING SHORT.  

Κατά την διάρκεια διασταύρωσης διαδρόμων, αν ο Ελεγκτής Αεροδρομίου αδυνατεί να δει το α/φος που διασταυρώνει (πχ λόγω νύχτας,  χαμηλής ορατότητας κλπ), η οδηγία πρέπει πάντα να συνοδεύεται από μια αίτηση αναφοράς για το πότε το α/φος έχει διασταυρώσει και ελευθερώσει τον διάδρομο.

The runway should be stated when the caller wishes to emphasise the runway to be occupied, or there is the possibility of confusion during multiple runway operations.
